PROFILE

Mr. Muhammad Ali Singay is a young talented student form Skardu (Gilgit-Baltistan). He was born on 30 July 1993. He started his schooling from the Public School and College, Skardu. From his early age he had a strong belief that his life has a greater purpose. Education is the only light, which can guide a person to find the purpose of his life so he went to the Cadet College Skardu- the most prestigious educational institute in Gilgit-Baltistan. After passing Matric and FSc exams with flying colors he joined the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) as a Law major. In LUMS he realized the differences created by economic disparity between different social classes. It urged him to play his role in bridging these differences. During his summer vacations of his freshman year,  he worked with the “Women Development Baltistan”, an NGO for the social and economic growth of the women of Baltistan. He also worked with the “Civil Society Human and Institutional Development Program” an NGO for education of handicapped children. Apart from his studies, he also joined LUMS Culture Society, as travelling and culture always fascinates him. Later on, he became the General Secretary of LUMS Culture Society. The knowledge of culture helped him to understand the thinking patterns of people. During the summer vacations of his joiner year, Mr. Singay went back to Skardu and worked with Purest Pearl to provide quality education for the underprivileged students of Baltistan.  He wants to expand the ambit of his work throughout Pakistan and lead his nation one day as a politician.
