PROFILE
Mr. Suleman Arshad a 23 year old student is visually impaired by birth. He did his Matriculation from the Al Maktoum Special Education and passed Intermediate from the Islamabad College for Boys. Presently, he is a student of BS Management Sciences at the University of the Punjab, Lahore. Mr. Arshad is the first visually challenged person in Pakistan who is a climber and has won gold and silver medals in rock/mountain climbing.
He also worked with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf to create Persons with Disabilities Wing in the Party and he was also successful in formulating a policy for PWDs. He has also established an adventure club for persons with disabilities called ‘Pakistan Para Climbing Club’. Mr. Arshad also went to Morocco for Active Citizen Project called International Study Visit by the British Council and has also attended the United Nation Organization Sports for Development and Peace's Youth Leadership Camp in Japan 2016.
