INTRODUCTORY BOOKLET OF 6TH YOUTH PARLIAMENT PAKISTAN 2014

The Youth Parliament Pakistan is a platform for the Pakistani youth patterned after the National Assembly of Pakistan with 60 members selected from all across the country for a one year term. The idea behind facilitating a Youth Parliament Pakistan is not just to put Pakistani Youth through a mock exercise of what Parliament does and how it should work, but to inculcate in them the values and culture of democracy as central to effective governance in any society. June 2014

MULTIFORM YOUTH EXTREMISM IN PAKISTAN

Extremism has become one of the most crucial challenges faced by Pakistan. It does not just target one but all segments of the society. However, there have not been very meaningful efforts to understand the entire spectrum of extremism in Pakistan, which is the first step towards forming a basis for a practical and cogent policy for thwarting extremism. The paper Multiform Youth Extremism in Pakistan has been commissioned by PILDAT as an attempt to fill this void. This peer-reviewed paper has been authored by Mr. Muhammad Feyyaz, an expert on counter-extremism peacekeeping, terrorism and security issues.July 2013
