Mr. Attique Alam belongs to Federally Administered Tribal Area, South Waziristan Agency, Wana. He was born on June 03 1987. He took his early education at a local madrassa in South Waziristan, Wana. Later on, his family shifted to D-I-Khan and he got an opportunity to be formally enrolled in Army Public School, D-I-Khan. After completing his higher secondary education with good grades, his family supported him with meager resources to take an honors degree in Business Administration from the University Of Peshawar.
During his stay at the University Of Peshawar, Mr. Attique Alam became an active member of Waziristan Students Society, which was promoting awareness among students of waziristan at campus and facilitating newcomers in admission process. Due to his keen interest in organizing discussion sessions around main issue areas faced by students of Waziristan, Mr. Attique Alam was elected as President of Waziristan Student Society. This interest of his in politics later on led him to acquire a Masters degree from National Defence University in International Politics, completed in June 2015, with an overall third position in the session. Mr. Attique Alam was also selected for “Experience America: Cultural Exchange Program” during his final year at graduation. Presently, he is aiming to acquire an admission in M.Phil leading to Phd.
