PROFILE
Mr. Shahmir Hamid was born on January 21, 1992 and hails from Lahore. He is a Public Policy Consultant who is currently working with the GIZ (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit). He received his initial schooling from the Aitchison College Lahore and went on to study Politics and International Relations at the Royal Holloway, University of London. He then did his Masters in International Public Policy from the University College London. Mr. Hamid has completed an internship in the House of Lords where he studied Parliamentary procedures and worked closely with the Kashmir Affairs Committee. He has worked with the highest academic and professional levels as well as with communities at the grass root levels. Mr. Hamid aims to put all these experiences to use and somehow contribute to bringing about a positive change in his beloved homeland.
