PROFILE
Ms. Sonam Devi belongs to the Dadu District of Sindh and was born on October 13, 1989. She received her academic education from the Beaconhouse School System, Karachi and the St. Joseph’s College for Women completed her B.Com and M.A. Economics from the University of Karachi and is currently pursuing Chartered Accountancy from ICAP. She has also completed CIMA Advanced Diploma in Management Accounting from the CIMA, UK and has been working with the Deloitte Yousuf Adil, Chartered Accountants since 4 years. Ms. Devi was elected as the first female General Secretary of the Chartered Accountants Students’ Association (CASA) by winning the highest number of votes. She led a team of 36 members and successfully organized the CA Students’ Conference 2015. She was selected as one of the “Top 20 Speakers” from Karachi at the “English Speech Competition” at “I am Karachi 2014” at the Arts Council of Pakistan. She has attended SAFA CA Students’ Conference 2013 in Kolkata (India) organized by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. Her desire to motivate and mentor others has led her to be more upfront and developed her interest in public speaking. She has a keen interest in working for women empowerment and a passion for travelling.
