PROFILE
Dr. Fahad Abbasi was born on June 10, 1989. He is from Jamshoro district of Sindh. He studied at the St. Bonaventure’s High School Hyderabad. Fahad received his MBBS from the Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences (LUMHS). At present, Mr. Abbasi is studying Masters in Public Health from the Health Services Academy- an affiliation of the Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad.
Mr. Abbasi has participated in national and international health conferences. In 2016, he hosted Public Health conference at his university and participated in ‘Tomorrow Peoples Conference at Kuching’, Malaysia. He has worked as rapporteur for USAID, WHO, and DFID. From 2008 to 2015, he was RJ at FM 105 Radio, winning 2010 Listeners Choice Award for his commentary on social and local issue. Currently, in his spare time, he works for the ITP FM 92.4, Islamabad Radio. In future, Mr. Fahad Abbasi wants to contribute towards improving health care policy and healthcare access in Pakistan.
